Webit was already highly telegraphed that bakugo wouldn’t stay dead, but the pacing and overall execution of the scene in the manga removed all tension and made it. Webit's always saddening to see a hero get themselves killed off, such as sir nighteye back in season 4, but katsuki bakugo's defeat and likely death was far more. Webbakugo deserved a second chance.
