I thought i was doing everything right. For example, i could take molecular evolution (fun) or general microbiology (difficult). Weba basic science bs (which is typically the study of nature and animals, insects and such) does not give enough education on things that are important to other sciences. I can choose either fun, mostly useless classes or more rigorous slightly less fun but probably beneficial classes. Or if you’re having trouble starting a career, you can get a masters degree in a more specific area. I know mds, dvms, phds, mss, as well as leaders in biotech who all had biology undergrad degrees. If you are unsure and want a biology degree, go for it.
