Weba basic science bs (which is typically the study of nature and animals, insects and such) does not give enough education on things that are important to other sciences. For example, i could take molecular evolution (fun) or general microbiology (difficult). A biology degree can be good for pursuing graduate studies but most people don’t give a shit that you can name the parts of a bug. I thought i was doing everything right. I got a bs in biology and an almost perfect gpa. Or if you’re having trouble starting a career, you can get a masters degree in a more specific area.
